Ambassador Teams
An Ambassador Team is a team with enthusiasm for, and understanding of, the FLL program, Core Values and who can discuss all FIRST programs. These teams will participate in at least 2 demonstrations from January thru December. Teams should be willing to commit to fulfilling their promise to attend 2 demonstrations. Why do we have ambassador teams? What do they do? Ambassador teams represent and spread the word about FIRST (and in our case FLL). Ambassadors go to various demonstrations and demonstrate their robot, share their research project, discuss core values and talk about the other FIRST programs. . How do you become an ambassador team? All teams who qualify to attend the LA Regional Championship Tournament can submit an application of with a maximum 1000 words on why they want to be an Ambassador Team. The application is turned in before they attend the competition. They must also commit to attend at least 2 demonstrations. If the application is accepted the team will be interviewed at the championship tournament and teams that are accepted as ambassadors are announced during the award ceremony. The application can be found on the LA Robotics website. http://www.larobotics.org 2014 Ambassador Teams
